MEET Betsy

I have always loved photography. I remember paging through National Geographic magazines in my garage and getting my hands on my first 110 mm film camera. Once I heard the magic of the shutter click I was sold.

Fast forward to College of Charleston where I majored in Art with a concentration in Black and White photography. I don't think it was until I studied abroad in Italy my senior year that I understood what it meant to be an artist. To actually put my heart out there and take what I was feeling and experiencing and make art from it. Now as a wife and mom of three my perspective has changed. The beauty of life has only gotten bigger and realizing how quickly life goes by is more of a reality. I see how all those old ladies in the grocery story telling me it goes so fast were right. Time with your kids goes by so fast and photography is my tool to freeze all those memories.
